Finding My Tribe

It's so often spoke about definitely in the girl world of blogging to 'find your tribe', and for a long time I always wondered what the hell it meant. And it only recently dawned on me, when I set up a little group for some like minded Mummy bloggers, that finding your tribe, is having a support network and people you can turn to.

As times have changed in blogging, and it's become a lot about brands and stats, I've definitely noticed a huge shift in peoples attitudes. I've come across manipulators, liars and fake friends, it's becoming ever more difficult to find people who you can truly trust and know will have your back. Not only that, but girls you can chat to, seek advice from and have general rants too - I feel I've found my 'tribe' lately, and some of these girls I now couldn't imagine not being their to turn to. So I thought I'd give them a little special mention, as they all have god damn amazing blogs too!

Alice - Not only does Alice have the most beautiful baby girl I've ever seen, but she has been feeding my own Christmas excitement from the start of September, with her own! She's the sweetest girl I know and never has a negative word to say, she's calm, collected and completely fabulous. She's never not been there for me to have a little moan too, she's also recently restarted her blog, so you have to check it out to see the gorgeous Elodie!

Amy - I've followed Amy for quite some time on social media, because her blog is blooming fantastic. We completely have the same taste in everything from decor to dressing our boys (Did I mention she has a beaaaaaaautiful baby Bodhi?) and she just gets me. I know she's got my back, and we natter away most nights, I just wish she lived closer so we could PARTAY!

Cara - One of the strongest most amazing mamas around, she's raising two beautiful babies, Indie and Harry, which she makes look so effortless! She too has restarted her blog recently, and opened up about mental health, which is such a huge & brave step. She deserves so much love and it sucks that she's so far away too - as personally I'd quite like to marry Noah off to Indie :')

Emily - Me and Emily both have second babies within a couple of weeks of each other, so it's handy to have someone who goes through everything around the same time as you. She also has beautiful Ella too who Noah isn't far off the same age, so I always find her blog a go to if somethings going on with my little ones, as I'm certain she'll have been there too!

  2. I love being part of your blogging tribe! For ages I've always wondered the same thing, I never really had a little blogger clic that I've felt like I've belonged to or been part of, but just like you I've realised that actually there are a few individual bloggers that I really gel with and feel like I can properly talk to, including you :-) Em x

  3. This is so sweet. i don't really have a blogging tribe, there are no bloggers that I feel that I am friends with just yet, but I am hoping to change that now that I am writing more regularly, and taking part in more things! #dreamteam

  4. I love the idea of a blogging tribe! I never even considered the camaraderie aspect of blogging, so that's been a nice surprise. I'm certain there will be moments in my life when I really need to lean on someone who understands my innermost thoughts (which I splatter all over my site!). #DreamTeam
