Noah You're 2!

How on earth has that little (debatable) wrinkly baby I brought home from the hospital 2 years ago, turned into such a kind, caring and rumbustious toddler? It's inconceivable how much he has changed, and I couldn't be more appreciative of what a delightful little boy he is. He has come on leaps and bounds in the past year and I love nothing more than discussing this with you all.

Speech
Something I never had to worry about, because I never shut up, I knew it would be absurd to think I'd have a quiet and shy little boy. Noah is a chatterbox and can now say much bigger sentences such as 'one more time please' when he really wants another song or to watch another video of himself back. He remembers his manners and exercises them well, 'Please Mama' 'Thanks Daddy' and is more than familiar with the word 'No'. I have absolutely no worries with his communication and language and often find myself in awe. For example Noah saying 'Good Morning' to people in the street, a little old man was in amazement and stopped to shake his hand and call him a fine young gentleman. He does make me proud.

Physical
Noah is your typical toddler in this respect, he doesn't like to sit still and is always on the go. Noah loves to be outdoors, even if it is just traipsing around the garden, he'll happily do it for hours. He can run pretty darn fast, and attempts to jump now which is very adorable. He's confident at feeding himself and we're now focussing on drinking from a cup with no top, because he'll move to the 'Toddler' room at nursery in December and that is what they use in there - we want to make sure he knows what he is doing. Potty training is still going well, he's now doing wee's on the potty at nursery so his confidence is definitely up. I think we're going to retry no pull-ups in another week and hope he's mastered it a little more now. Noah also still attends his swimming lessons and is just about ready to move up a group!

Other
Noah is still sleeping well *touch wood* and sleeps around 7-6 or 7-7, which is nice. Occasionally he struggles to settle himself at night, but if we give him a hard back book he'll flick through for 10 minutes and fall asleep - we really can't complain. Noah is utterly bus mad, he can manage to spot them from hundreds of metres away and will insist that I chase them in my car. He's also known to be fond of a Tractor and whenever I get him from Nursery, firmly in one hand is a bus and the other is a tractor. He's turned into a proper little boy now and it's so nice to see.
